In 2020, our church will be celebrating its sesquicentennial – the 150th Anniversary year of Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church.
In addition to planning celebratory events for the weekend of September 26-27, 2020, we are gathering information to tell JM’s story of service during her 150 years. The story will be printed in a commemorative booklet.
You are invited to participate by providing information, including photographs, relating to the subjects listed at the end of this letter, or other areas of interest. Check your archives and let us know what you may have to contribute! To prevent duplication, please email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or phone the church (304-525-8116) regarding the items you have.
We are also looking for researchers/writers to assist us in the telling our story of service. If you’d like to help us dig into JM’s history, please let us know at your earliest convenience, but no later than August 15, 2019.
We are excited to prepare for our 150th celebration and look forward to hearing from you!
